Sponsored Research Alternative
Industrial companies always have the option to fund specific research projects on an individual basis to secure greater intellectual property rights, but funding through the Membership approach has the advantage of leveraging with funding provided by the NSF and other Members. Also, projects that can be incorporated into existing WaterCAMPWS projects will likely yield results faster because the project infrastructure will already be in place.
