Education » Pre-College Students & Teachers » Research Experience for Teachers

The cutting edge nature of the research conducted at WaterCAMPWS provides a constant flow of opportunity for integration and development of new curriculum. A Research Experience for Teachers, RET, is offered in addition to our WaterCLEAR workshops and academy to enable teachers to immerse themselves in a research laboratory working on relevant, real-world water problems. Participants in the RET program will be expected to participate in future WaterCLEAR Cohorts in a trainer or mentor role and present in our 2008 annual review to the National Science Foundation. Funding will be available for the RET participants to present at local, state and national conferences. All RET participants will be invited to attend WaterCAMPWS symposiums and seminars as well as WaterCLEAR programs offered through out the year. The application deadline for participation in the 2008 WaterRET program is March 1, 2008. The application can be downloaded via the link below, and also requires two letters of reference.
